The bottom of the lineup helped the Benjamin Logan Raiders capture a 10-0 victory over Riverside on Thursday.
Oliver Morse, Cayden Brown, and Xavier Allen combined for four of the team’s seven hits in the victory.
They scored five runs and drove in three.
A double by Camden Spriggs put Benjamin Logan on the board quickly at the bottom of the first.
The Raiders added another in the second when Oliver Morse singled to center field, making the score 2-0.
A 5-run, 3-hit fifth inning helped the Raiders on their way to the shutout.
Bryden Morris earned the win for Benjamin Logan, giving up one hit and no runs over three innings, striking out four and walking two.
Aidden Manning took the loss for the Pirates.
He went four innings, giving up five runs (two earned) on four hits, striking out one and walking four.
Adam Tinsman pitched two innings of no-run ball for the Benjamin Logan Varsity Raiders in relief.
Morse went 2-for-2 from the plate for the Raiders.
Carter Lyden led the team with three RBIs.
Brice Kauffman and Brody Orsborne each collected hits for Riverside.
Benjamin Logan hosts Bellefontaine next on Wednesday to open post-season play.

Graham 12, Southeastern 2
The Graham Falcons defeated Southeastern Local 12-2 on Thursday.
Owen Powell collected three hits in four at-bats with a double in the first inning, and singles in the fourth and fifth.
Southeastern got on the board in the first inning after Jacob Alderson hit a sacrifice fly, scoring a run.
Graham took over the lead, 3-1, in the bottom of the first after Powell doubled down the left field line, Jack Traylor grounded out, and Southeastern committed an error, each scoring one run.
A single by Jack Traylor and a sacrifice fly by Dylan LaFollette helped Graham extend their early lead in the second.
Brody Jenkins led things off on the bump for the Falcons.
The hurler allowed six hits and two runs (one earned) over five innings, striking out three and walking three.
Kade Webb takes the loss for Southeastern, giving up five hits and six runs (five earned) over one and one-third innings, striking out none and walking two.
Graham collected 12 hits in the game.
Powell and Holden Dunham each collected three hits for the Falcons while hitting back-to-back.
Jack Traylor drove in three RBIs.
Alderson led the Arrows with one run batted in.
Trenton Davis went 2-for-2 at the plate to lead Southeastern in hits.
Next up for Graham is a trip to Coldwater on Friday.
Southeastern visits Mechanicsburg.
