The Benjamin Logan boys and girls varsity soccer teams both picked up victories Saturday.
Benjamin Logan (boys) 5, Spencerville 0
The Benjamin Logan boys varsity team shut out Spencerville 5-0 Saturday afternoon.
Gavin Jordan led the Raiders with two goals on two shots, with both shots finding the net. Brock Henry added a goal and two assists, giving him four total points in the victory.
Luke Vesely and Maximus Clapsaddle each scored a goal, while Cason Lacher added an assist.
The Raiders finished with five goals on five shots, with all five shots on goal.
The victory improves Benjamin Logan’s record to 3-2-3 on the season.
The Raiders will travel to Kenton Ridge Monday for a 5:30 p.m. start.
Benjamin Logan (girls) 3, Allen East 1
The Benjamin Logan girls varsity team also picked up a win Saturday evening, defeating Allen East 3-1.
Junior Daylin Varner provided all three goals for the Raiders, scoring on all three of her shots and finishing with six points.
Junior Ella Stoodt added an assist.
Benjamin Logan’s three shots in the match were all on goal as the Raiders improved to 5-2 on the season.
The girls will travel to Kenton Ridge Monday for a 7:30 p.m. start.
