Brandon Heater, a sophomore kicker for Benjamin Logan High School, set a new school record with a 42-yard field goal in Friday’s game against the Bluffton Pirates.
The previous record of 37 yards was held by Doug Titus.
Heater’s impressive kick, made under pressure, drew praise from coaches and fans and marks a significant milestone for Benjamin Logan football.
