The Ben Logan Raiders traveled to Bellefontaine to take on the Chieftains Wednesday night.
The varsity Raiders beat the Chieftains 31 to 18 to move to 5-1 on their season.
Rylan Norviel led scoring for the Raiders with 14 points, Georgia Bates pitched in 7 points, and Mia Stahler added 5 points on the win.
The JV Raiders came out on top with the Chieftains also winning 29 to 23.
Molly Siefring had 6 points, Bonnie Brunson and Adilynne Gregg both had 5 points, and Elliott Butler and Aubrey Harris both chipped in 5 points each.
The Raiders travel to North Union to take on the Wildcats in a league match-up on Saturday afternoon starting with the JV game at 1:00 pm.
The Triad girls basketball team played at Fairbanks on Wednesday evening.
For the JV game, Triad lost 39-4.
Melissa Graham and Hannah Russell score two points each, leading the Cardinals.
Graham added 6 rebounds.
Bre Parsons also had 6 rebounds.
For the Varsity game, Triad lost 47-17.
For Triad, Emma Ferguson had 5 points and Kaley Nott added 4. Ashlyn McCoy had 12 rebounds.
Triad’s JV plays at Madison Plains on Thursday at 6:00 pm in a JV-only match.
Both teams are back in action on Saturday at home against West Jeff.
The Indian Lake Lady Lakers beat Kenton Ridge 48 to 11 on Wednesday.
Haylee Edwards scored 12 points, grabbed 8 rebounds, dished out 7 assists, and had 5 steals.
Savannah Hill added 12 points.
The JV team did not have a match.
