The Benjamin Logan Raiders and Urbana Hillclimbers played to a 0-0 draw Tuesday night in a match that was interrupted by a 90-minute lightning delay in the first half.
Benjamin Logan came out strong, creating multiple opportunities to score early in the match. The Raiders were unable to capitalize, however, and the game remained scoreless heading into halftime.
The second half settled into more of a stalemate, with both defenses limiting scoring chances and neither team able to break through.
Urbana goalkeeper Avery Zinkhon recorded seven saves to preserve the shutout for the Hillclimbers, while Benjamin Logan goalkeeper Avery Rogers also recorded the fourth shutout of her young career.
With the draw, Benjamin Logan moves to 6-2-1 on the season.
