Benjamin Logan Eighth-Grade Girls Capture CBC Championship
The Benjamin Logan eighth-grade girls basketball team claimed the CBC Championship on Saturday, edging Jonathan Alder 35–31 in a competitive title game played at Bellefontaine High School.
The Raiders showed poise and toughness down the stretch, securing the program’s second consecutive CBC championship, a testament to the group’s consistency and growth throughout the season.

West Liberty-Salem Eighth-Grade Girls Claim OHC North Title
The West Liberty-Salem eighth-grade girls closed out their season in dramatic fashion on Saturday, February 7, 2026, defeating Triad 35–33 to earn the OHC North Championship.
In a tightly contested game, West Liberty-Salem relied on balanced scoring and strong defense to hold off a late Triad push. The victory capped a successful season for the Tigers, who finished with a 12–3 overall record.
