Saturday, the Benjamin Logan wrestling team had a perfect performance at the Seilski Duals on Saturday, finishing with a 6-0 record to claim the title.
Despite only having 11 wrestlers competing across 14 weight classes, the Raiders dominated.
Key wrestlers included Cooper Buck (126 lbs), Carter Buck (132 lbs), Owen Weaks (144 lbs), Hayden Hites (165 lbs), and Ethan Carpenter (175 lbs).
The team will next compete at the Don Wasserbeck Invitational at North Union.
Meanwhile, Bellefontaine’s wrestling team competed at the Miamisburg Invitational, earning four top-six finishes.
Jeffrey Smith (113 lbs) and Zavier May (165 lbs) placed 4th, while Jared Young (126 lbs) took 5th and Eli Deal (132 lbs) finished 6th.
The Chiefs finished 11th overall out of 16 teams.
They will be back on the mat Wednesday for a dual meet against Indian Lake at the “Battle at the Lake,” starting at 6 pm.
