Area MS teams battle in full night of hoops

Bellefontaine’s 7th and 8th-grade Chieftains came out firing Tuesday night, impressively sweeping Springfield Shawnee, and the 7th-grade Lady Chiefs and Indian Lake Laker boys added big wins of their own. West Liberty-Salem’s girls and boys teams were also in action with a full slate of games.

Bellefontaine Results

7th Grade Boys – Bellefontaine 47, Shawnee 25

The Chieftains dominated from start to finish, spreading the scoring around in a strong team win.

Indian Lake grabbed their first win of the season, fueled by lockdown defense and balanced scoring.

7th Grade Girls – Mechanicsburg 34, WL-S 28

The 7th grade Lady Tigers fell at home Tuesday night, dropping to 2–1 on the season.
They return to action December 18th at home against Greeneview at 5:30 p.m.
