Six Bellefontaine High School football standouts have been named to the Division III All-Southwest District Team.
Seniors quarterback Tavien St. Clair, wide receiver Braylon Newcomb, offensive lineman Brody Boy, and linebacker Jayden Temple were all named First Team. Senior defensive end Ayden Clary and junior linebacker Carter Caudill earned Second Team honors.
St. Clair was named Offensive Player of the Year for the second straight season. During the year, he passed for 2,536 and 29 touchdowns. He completed 68 percent of his passes and rushed for 254 yards and 9 TDs. St. Clair led the CBC in passing yards.
Newcomb tallied 77 catches for 1,195 yards and 17 touchdowns. Newcomb topped the CBC in receiving yards.
Boy anchored the offensive line from his center position.
Temple led the Bellefontaine defense with 122 tackles and 4 sacks.
Clary tallied 56 tackles and 3.5 sacks.
Caudill recorded 115 tackles, 6 tackles for loss, 2 interceptions, and 2 fumble recoveries.
Caudill also led the CBC with 1,013 rushing yards in the regular season.
The Chiefs finished 8-3 overall and 4-1 in the CBC.
