The Bellefontaine Varsity girls bowling team placed 2nd out of 22 teams on Saturday at Columbus Square Bowling Palace.
Their final score was 4637 regular team games totaling 2777, and Baker’s totals were 1860. Individual scores: Gracie Hood rolled 672. She scored the highest game for the girls.
Haylee Yelton had 575, Chloe Heminger had 569, Rylee Anderson added a 190 game, and Avery Mullins added a 163 game.
The girls also shot the highest baker game for the day at 254.
They worked hard all day to go around Celina and started the baker games down 59 pins and just couldn’t close the gap.
They ended up losing to Celina by 27 pins.
Gracie Hood made the 2nd spot on the All-Tournament Team with her 672 series.
JV Girls placed 1st out of 6 teams in the tournament.
The format for the day was 3 regular games and 10 bakers.
The final score for the day was 3370.
Individual scores were led by Isabelle Gunnett with a 465 series, Addison Prosser posted a 455 series, Kyrah Moon had a 413 series, and Kinzie Bernard added a 156 game.
Isabelle, Addison, and Kyrah made the JV All-Tournament Team.
