The fifth CBC Cup was held at North Union High School on Friday.
The event started as a way to give students with special needs a chance to represent their school and compete against their peers from other school districts.
Bellefontaine High School hosted the first CBC Cup in 2019.
BHS senior Matt Finch won the CBC Cup Sportsmanship Award this year.

Bellefontaine High School Special Education Teacher Skylar Mifsud reflected on this year’s event, “The CBC Cup is a rewarding day each year for the league to come together for our special needs students. It turned out to be a perfect day outside for the students to compete in various events. We’re proud of our athletes for competing and having fun. We appreciate our student coaches for their efforts today. It’s a rewarding day for everyone who is involved.”
