BHS Softball outpaced Wapak in second game of DH — Softball Results

Area varsity softball teams competed over the weekend on Saturday, April 8.

The Riverside Lady Pirates traveled to Triad for a doubleheader and lost 8-7 in the first game.

The Pirates committed 6 errors to allow them to keep innings alive.

Aliana Snow pitched a good game striking out 7.

Jade Copas went 3-4 with 3 RBIs.

Riley Dillion hit a homerun.

Aubree Huston went 2-4.

In the second game, Riverside lost 5-2.

Riley Dillon pitched striking out 5.

Jade Copas had another great game at the plate going 3-3 with a double and 3 stolen bases.

Riverside falls to 5-3 on the year and will host Jackson Center today.

 

Bellefontaine fell to Wapakoneta High School 5-3.

The Lady Chiefs dropped the first game in a doubleheader at Wapakoneta.

Although The Chiefs out-hit Wapakoneta, the team was unable to push enough runs across the plate.

Offensively Kassi Prine and Alexza Clifton went 2-3.

In the second game, The Lady Chiefs beat Wapakoneta High School 12-6.

Kassi Prine (pitcher) and Addison Wical (catcher) recorded 5 strikeouts.

Offensively Averie Vigansky went 3-4, Alexza Clifton went 3-4 with a double, and Rianna Fullerton went 2-3.

The Lady Chiefs play at home today against Jonathan Alder.
