Bellefontaine Track and Field teams competed at the Thomas Worthington Invitational on Saturday. The girls’ team placed fifth, while the boys came in seventh.
The teams battled the rain and performed.  Callie Shumaker’s double hurdle victories led the way.  Other high placers were led by Grace Brown in a championship 1600 and 3rd in the 800. Kelsie Snapp claimed gold in both the discus and shot put.  On the boys side, Ayden Clary’s 1st and 2nd in the throws was superb.  Hayden Maus had a near PR placing 2nd in 3200. Freshman Caleb Sechrest reeled in a second and a sixth in the hurdles.
