BHS Volley Comes Up Short

The Bellefontaine Chieftain Volleyball team came up short against visiting London (16-25, 25-19, 24-26, 18-25).

Leading the Chiefs:

  • Sophomore Kelsie Snapp with 15 kills, 17 digs, 3 aces and 2 blocks
  • Junior Taylor Banta followed suit with 16 kills, 13 digs, and was 15/16 serving
  • Junior Reagan Standley came up strong on defense recording 23 digs and was 16/16 serving with 3 aces
  • Junior Ava Campbell had 8 kills, 2 blocks and was 14/14 serving with an ace
  • Junior Ava Reeves tallied 11 digs
  • Senior Alexza Clifton had 2 blocks and 7 digs
  • Junior Kyle Adams also had 2 blocks
  • Sophomore Madi Zedeker chipped in with 39 assists, 6 digs and was 10/10 serving

The JV Chiefs won in straight sets 25-17 25-23.

  • Ava Layman had 6 kills and 9 digs
  • Jillian Ullom tallied 8 digs and 3 aces
  • Kaeleigh Flora chipped in with 7 kills and 4 digs
  • Kylee Boggs had 5 digs, 12 assists, and was 11/11 serving with 2 aces
  • Zoey Conner tallied 4 kills and was 8/8 serving
  • Presley Vigansky had a solo block, an ace, and 3 assists
  • Emma Whitaker added a solo block
  • Sophia Jacobs added a dig

The Chiefs travel to Kenton on Saturday. The JV Black match starts at 10 AM.
