Benjamin Logan boys varsity soccer team kicked off the season on the right foot defeating a pesky Jackson Center team 3-0 in the opening game of the Quest Cup at Benjamin Logan.
After a 0-0 half where the Raiders outshot the Tigers 10-0, Carter Lyden got the hosts on the board at the 28-minute mark of the second half heading home a Landon Stoodt freekick.
Aidan Todd finished off an Eric Hughes pass just a few minutes later and Ethan Miller put the cherry on top in the last minute with Landen Simon picking up the assist.
Liam Sweeney notched his first career shutout making 1 save and the Raiders will host Calvary Christian in the championship game Saturday evening at 7:30.
Calvary Christian defeated Fairlawn 7-0.
Jackson Center will play Fairlawn in the consolation game at 5:30.
