BL girls fall to Graham in conference opener

The Benjamin Logan Lady Raiders opened conference play at home Saturday night as they hosted the Graham Falcons, earning a win in junior varsity action before falling in a hard-fought varsity matchup.

Varsity

The Varsity Lady Raiders battled throughout the night but came up short, 51–42, against a strong Graham squad.

Jozie Taylor led Ben Logan with 12 points and 6 rebounds.

Rylan Norviel added 9 points and 9 rebounds, while Daylin Varner also scored 9.

Joplin Schneider contributed 4 points and grabbed 8 rebounds.

Adilynne Gregg anchored the glass with 10 rebounds and 3 points, and Kylie Harner added 3 points along with 7 rebounds.

Despite Ben Logan’s strong rebounding and balanced scoring, Graham pulled away late to secure the win.

Junior Varsity

The JV Lady Raiders earned a 38–21 victory, showcasing a strong team effort with balanced scoring.

Brielle Kline and Addison Kuhn scored 6 points each. Marley Shields and Kaylee Oglesbee finished with 5 apiece.

Miley Buettner, Paislee Rodenberger, Madison Shields, and Miya Willis each added 4 points, with Rodenberger also collecting 7 steals in the win.
