BL, WL-S boys close regular season with big wins

Benjamin Logan 69, Triad 46

The Benjamin Logan Raiders closed out the regular season on a high note with a convincing 69–46 win over Triad.

Roman Maxwell led the Raiders with a big night, scoring 19 points, pulling down 11 rebounds, and adding 3 steals. Maddox Vermillion followed with 14 points, 6 rebounds, and 3 assists, while Peyton Vermillion chipped in 11 points and 7 rebounds. Christian Rogan added an all-around performance with 10 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists, and 2 steals.
Additional scoring came from Diesel Baughman (4 points), Cayden Brown (2 points), Ozwin McWade (3 points), Carter Fay (3 points), and Adam Tinsman (3 points).

In junior varsity action, the Benjamin Logan JV Raiders dominated Triad 30–3. Carrick Spriggs led the scoring with 7 points, while Wyatt Predmore and Caden Powell each added 5 points.

West Liberty-Salem 78, Madison Plains 54

The West Liberty-Salem Tigers varsity team continued its strong season, improving to 19–3 overall and 14–2 in the OHC with a 78–54 victory over Madison Plains.

Brandel Sullivan paced the Tigers with 18 points, followed closely by Beckett Sullivan with 16. Troy Christison added 13 points, while Carson Poppe scored 9. Sutton Wilcoxon finished with 7 points, Brevin Louden had 5, Sam Strapp and Garrett Wallen each scored 4, and Tucker Searles added 2.

The West Liberty-Salem JVA team also earned a win, defeating Madison Plains 44–31 to improve to 19–3 overall. Josiah Johnson led the way with 10 points, Colton Neeld scored 8, Casey Boyer and Grant Krabill each added 6, Tucker Searles had 5, and Liam Barger, Asher Cole, and Tyler Hershberger each finished with 3 points.
