The Benjamin Logan middle school boys competed at the Powerade Tournament in Pennsylvania, with several wrestlers finishing near the podium. Owen Marshall and Carter Crumm both posted winning records, and the Raiders will look ahead to their next matchup against Wapakoneta on January 3.

A strong field of 22 teams competed Saturday at the Ladies Battle on the Hill in Urbana, with Jonathan Alder claiming the team championship. Several local programs turned in notable performances, highlighted by individual titles, podium finishes, and a middle school team championship.

Bellefontaine High School — 5th Place (96.0 points)

Bellefontaine finished fifth overall, paced by multiple podium performances and strong depth across the lineup. Rylyn Hoskins-Rose placed second at 115 pounds with four pins, while Rosalie Lightle and Addison Smith each earned third-place finishes. The Lady Chiefs also celebrated a big day from their middle school squad, which captured the team title out of 19 schools.

West Liberty-Salem placed seventh behind dominant championship runs from Chloe Griffith and Shelby Vincent, who both went undefeated to claim titles in their respective weight classes. Jenna Cline added a runner-up finish at 105 pounds as the Tigers posted several high-impact victories on the mat.

Urbana High School — 12th Place (34.0 points)

Urbana was led by Libertie Nigh, who went a perfect 3-0 with three pins to win the 105-pound division. Eliza Noriega added two pinfall victories at 170 pounds as the Hillclimbers gained valuable experience competing in a deep tournament field.

Benjamin Logan High School — 15th Place (26.5 points)

Benjamin Logan earned a 15th-place finish, highlighted by a third-place showing from Livi Achor at 170 pounds. Addie Anderson also contributed a technical fall victory at 140 pounds as the Raiders continued to build momentum this season.
