Benjamin Logan Takes on Urbana; Bellefontaine Comes up Short Against Springfield

The Benjamin Logan Middle School volleyball team played Urbana Wednesday evening at home.

The 7th-grade team lost: 10-25 &26-28.
The 8th-grade team won in 2 sets: 25-10 & 25-12.
  • Georgia Daniels had 7 kills and served 4 points
  • Nevaeh Fogle had 3 kills and served 10 points
  • Kelsey Jumper served 10 points from the service line with 3 aces.

Lady Raiders MS plays on Saturday as they travel to Jonathan Alder.

The Lady Chiefs 7th-grade team fought hard but came up short losing to the Braves in two sets 23-25, 19-25.

Madaline Barrett had the lone kill assisted by Mia Brown.

Brown also added 4 aces in the effort.

Lexi McKirahan chipped in with an ace while Marlee Huffman and Madylin Jenkins each tallied a dig.

The Lady Chiefs 8th- grade completed very well but came up short against Springfield Shawnee Wednesday.

Leading the Chiefs:

  • Zaleny Storm scored 5 points, one ace, 4 assists, and one kill
  • Brooklyne Kuntz also had 5 points serving and 2 aces
  • Arianna Rangel had 2 kills and 2 aces
  • Ava Oppy had 4 kills, 3 assists, and 3 digs

The Chiefs travel to Minster Thursday for their third game of the week.
