The Bellefontaine Middle School Boys Track Team won the Shawnee Invitational against 10 other teams. Athletes placing were:

  • Brandon Wong – 5th in the 110m hurdles and 3rd in the 200m hurdles
  • Nick Orozco – 7th in the 110m hurdles
  • Maddox Miller – 3rd in the 100m dash
  • Krue Brandyberry – 6th in the 100m dash and 5th in the 200m dash
  • Jake Moreland – 2nd in the 1600m run and 6th in the 800m run
  • Oliver Grandstaff – 3rd in the 1600m run, 2nd in the 800m run and 4th in Discus
  • Blake Loomis – 5th in the 200m hurdles
  • Spencer Stolly – 3rd in the 200m dash and 2md in the Long Jump
  • Jordan Reed – 4th in High Jump
  • CJ Butler – 4th in Long Jump
  • Alex Sandoval – 8th in Discus and 4th in Shot Put
  • Brody Impson – 2nd in Pole Vault
  • Tristyn Wilson 4th in Pole Vault

The 4x100m relay team of Maddox Miller, Spencer Stolly, Krue Brandyberry, and Blake Loomis took 1st.

The 4x200m relay team of Ethan Turner, CJ Butler, Brody Impson, and Blake Loomis took 2nd.

The Bellefontaine Middle School Girls Track Team competed in the Shawnee Invitational and was barely nudged out of 1st place by London to take 2nd place in a strong field of 11 teams from all divisions.

Winning her events was Grace Brown in the 1600m and the 800m.

Placing for the Chiefs were:

  • Jillian Ullom: 100m, 200m hurdles
  • Sloan Stolly: 200m hurdles
  • Hannah Wilson: 800m
  • Arianna Guillen: High jump
  • Emma Whitaker: discus, shot put

4×800 relay: Camila Cely Hernandez, Hailee Lamb, Rylee Yelton, Hannah Wilson.

4×400 relay: Stolly, Karsyn Newkirk, Brown, and Ullom.
