Thursday, the Benjamin Logan boys varsity bowling team suffered its second loss of the season, falling 2730-2921 to Northwestern at Victory Lanes in Springfield.
Jarrett Buckenroth led the team with a 444 series, which included games of 225 and 219.
Dylan Steward followed with a 432 series, scoring 256 and 176.
Nate Davis posted a 420 series, and Landon Stoodt had a 382 series.
Despite strong individual performances, the varsity team lost 3 out of 4 Baker Games, bringing their CBC record to 12-2.
The JV Boys team, however, won their match against Northwestern’s JV squad with a score of 2300-2169.
Conner Chambers led the JV team with a 369 series, including games of 180 and 189.
Both the Varsity and JV teams will return home to face the Graham Falcons at TP Lanes on Friday, January 24th, at 4:00 PM.

The Lady Raiders varsity bowling team came out on top against Northwestern with a 2,215-2,174 victory.
Leading the way for the Raiders was Maddy Hamm, who rolled a 373 series with games of 206 and 167.
Lorali Klopfenstein posted a 343 series, and Jacey Koehler had a 342 series.
Despite missing two bowlers, the team held on for the win.
The Lady Raiders’ JV squad also won, defeating Northwestern 1,370-1,322.
Kaydon Wilber led the JV team with a 245 series.
The Lady Raiders will take on the Graham Falcons at TP Lanes on Friday, January 24th, at 4:00 PM.

The Lady Chiefs varsity bowling team pulled off a close victory against Jonathan Alder, winning by just 24 pins with a final score of 2,428 to 2,404.
Gracie Hood led the way with a 435 series, including games of 200 and 235.
Chloe Heminger added a 385 series, and Nevaeh LaFollette posted a 201 game.
The Lady Chiefs improved to 13-1 in the CBC and will play London next Friday.
The JV team also won, defeating Jonathan Alder 1,610-1,356.
Rylee Anderson was the top performer with a 180 game.

The varsity boys team came up a little short.
Jonathan Alder 2876 Chiefs 2754.
Rolling for the Chiefs was Alex Moon 234, 200 for a 434 series.
David Allen 225, 191 for 416. Colton Wisner rolled 189, 199 for a 388.
Rory Pierce pitched in a 203 game. Baker games consisted of 186, 176, 224, 215.
JV brought home a win 1852 to 1844.
Rolling strong for the Chiefs was Eli Stone 200, 225 for a 425 series.
Brandon Pinkerton added a 192. Timmy Phillips added 182.
The Bellefontaine Boys Bowling will host London Friday at TP Lanes and recognize Seniors Rory Pierce, Jacob Lynch, Robert Spain, and Jeffrey Knotts.
