Benjamin Logan junior high wrestlers represented their school this weekend at the OAC Junior High State Tournament, highlighted by an impressive performance on the girls’ side.

Seventh-grader Bristol Blair showcased determination and resilience throughout the tournament, earning multiple victories on her way to a second-place finish. The runner-up performance is especially notable as it comes in her first year of wrestling.

On the boys’ side, five Ben Logan junior high wrestlers competed against a tough field, each battling through multiple matches and gaining valuable experience.

Owen Marshall finished with a 1-2 record, while Jennings Bednarki went 2-2. Carter Crumm and Bryson Greiner each posted 3-2 records, and Marshall Elliott finished 0-2.

While the group fell short of placing, their efforts and match wins reflect a strong showing and continued growth for the Ben Logan junior high wrestling program.
