The Mechanicsburg girls bowling team turned in a dominant performance Friday at the OHSAA Girls Division II Central Sectional Bowling Tournament at HP Lanes, cruising to a first-place finish and earning a district berth.

Mechanicsburg finished 329 pins clear of second place, backed by strong team games, consistent baker sets, and multiple standout individual series.

No. 1 Mechanicsburg Indians — District Qualifier

The Indians built their lead early and never looked back, posting steady scores across all three team games before closing out the title with solid baker play.

The Mechanicsburg boys bowling team delivered a strong showing Saturday at the OHSAA Division II Central Sectional Tournament at HP Lanes, finishing second overall and earning a trip to the district round.

The Indians finished just 90 pins behind first place, putting together steady team games and a strong baker block to comfortably secure one of the 12 advancing spots.
