Calvary boys pick up 10th straight win; Lady Raiders knocked out of tourney

Calvary Christian ran past North Baltimore 67-35 for their 10th straight win.

Ephraim Daniels tossed in 23 points with 5 steals and 3 rebounds.

Ezra Davie added 12 points and 2 boards, Wyatt Schlatter had 8 points, 6 rebounds, and 6 assists, Evan Patton pitched in 4 points, 2 rebounds, and 2 assists, Kaden Downey had 3 points, 3 rebounds, and 2 assists, and Charles Krumm scored 2 points.

Calvary improves to 13-5.

West Liberty-Salem’s freshman team picked up two wins in the OHC Tournament.

The Tigers defeated Mechanicsburg 36-28 in the 1st round.

Gaven Nance had 8, Cade Stokes finished with 7, and Garrett Wallen and JJ Johnson each scored 6 points.

WL-S edged past Cedarville 26-24 in the semifinals,

Johnson tallied 10 points.

The Tigers will play in the OHC Finals Saturday at Cedarville at noon.

In varsity girls tournament action:

Benjamin Logan fell to Carroll 62-37.

The Lady Raiders held a 16-10 lead at the end of one.

After six lead changes in the second quarter, Carroll went on an 11-0 run to take a 33-24 halftime lead.

The second half saw the Patriots shoot well from behind the perimeter and outscore Benjamin Logan 29-13.

Mia Stahler had 10 points, Kara Reeves chipped in with 7 points, McKenzee Roseburrough scored 6, and Kyndal Cronkleton had 5 points.

The Lady Raiders finish the season 9-13.
