Calvary Christian Spartans advance in OCSAA Tournament

The Calvary Christian Spartans traveled to Elyria Tuesday night for their first matchup in the OCSAA tournament, securing a 50-44 victory over the First Baptist Sabers.

Daniel Young led the Spartans with 14 points, 2 rebounds, and 2 steals.

Christian Rogan followed closely with 13 points, 3 rebounds, and 2 steals.

Ian Schmidt contributed 7 points and 2 steals, while Zeeke Wylie added 6 points, 6 rebounds, and 4 assists.

Evan Schmidt and Luke Gaertner each scored 4 points, with Schmidt also pulling down 5 rebounds and recording 2 assists.

Braylon Dunson rounded out the scoring with 2 points.

The Spartans will now face High Street Christian Academy in their next OCSAA tournament game in Columbus.
