The Calvary Christian Spartans JV soccer team secured a decisive 4-1 victory against Dayton Christian on Saturday morning.

The Spartans took the lead early with a goal from Seth Palmer, assisted by Aiden Keller at the left post.

Cale Buchenroth then set up Xavier Church with a well-placed through ball for the second goal.

Defensive standouts Gavin Householder, Brett Gildow, and Kacey Andre effectively stymied Dayton Christian’s offense throughout the first half.

Aiden Keller scored again early in the second half on a corner kick delivered by Buchenroth.

Caleb Gantz and Lydia Davie continued to strengthen the defensive line, maintaining pressure and protecting their goal.

The final Spartan goal came from a give-and-go play between Palmer and Church.

Offensive efforts from Kole Gantz and Mak Kariuki were also notable, with both players contributing significantly throughout the match.

Goalkeeper Brody Prall made 6 saves to secure the win.
