Central Buckeye Conference Commissioner Mark Holbrook announced that Bethel and Greenon will be joining the CBC for the 2027/2028 school year.
Holbrook said the conference’s Executive Board gathered Thursday and voted to expand the conference.
The Bethel Bees will enter the Kenton Trail Division while the Greenon Knights will join the Mad River.
Bethel told the Three Rivers Conference they were leaving earlier this year while Greenon told the OHC they were leaving several weeks ago.
As of today, the CBC divisions in 2027/2028 will look like this:
