CBC Track Prelim Results — Other Finals

Area track teams competed in the 1st day of the Central Buckeye Conference Prelims on Tuesday at the BHS Track & Field Complex.

Teams will compete Friday at Bellefontaine in the finals of the CBC Championships. Field events start at 4:30 p.m. and running events will begin at 5:00 pm.

The Indian Lake girls scored 34 points.

Reagan Rash placed first in the 3,200 m run (12:21), Grace Pequignot was runner-up in shot put (36-3), Stephanie Altstaetter was third in shot put (35-4), Ava Faler was fourth in high jump (4-8), the 4×800 relay of Evie Wagner, KaiLea Miller, Hannah Metzger, and Cambria Tuttle finished fourth (11:10), Evie Wagner was fifth in the 3200 m run (13:07), and Meadow McCullough was 6th in high jump (4-6).

The boy’s team scored 26 points.

Brody Parsell repeated as CBC Mad River Champion in the pole vault with a PR of 12-6. Caiden Guantt was runner-up in the long jump (20-5), the 4×800 relay team of Tony Cummins, Grant McPherson, Heath Wilson, and Vince Wilson was fourth (9:16), Isaac Morrison was fifth in long jump (19-7.5), Ryan Culp was sixth in pole vault (11-0), Charles Sickles-Sposa was sixth in discus (105-3).

 

The Benjamin Logan girls also competed.

200 Dash: 2nd place – Isabel Henderson (26.67).

The Benjamin Logan boy’s track team is currently in 2nd place in the Madriver Division with 36 points. North Union is leading with 40.

The West Liberty-Salem Girl’s Track and Field Team took an early lead at the Ohio Heritage Conference Championships at Triad Tuesday evening.

In the North Division, the Tigers lead with 42 points followed by Triad with 32 points and Fairbanks with 28.

The Tigers took home two first-place finishes on day one with Elise Longshore winning pole vault (9’0”) and the 4×800 relay team of Ashley Yoder, Gwen McCullough, Teagan Boyd, and Breece Gullett winning in 10:06.96.

Isabella Hardwick placed second in discus (96’04”). Sophia Hardwick placed third in discus (92’04”). Lena Kauffman placed third in pole vault (8’0”), and Claire Longshore placed fifth in high jump (4’04”).

Finals will take place Thursday at Triad.
