CCS bowling secures first win of the season

The Calvary Christian Spartans picked up their first match win of the season Saturday with a strong road performance at 20th Century Lanes in Lima, defeating Lima Perry High School.

All team members contributed to the victory, as the Spartans rolled to a 2290–1663 win over Lima Perry.

The team was led by freshman bowlers Landen Jackson, who posted an impressive 451 two-game series, Levi Johns with a 347 series, and Greyson Barns with a 306 series.

Additional scoring support came from:

  • Landen Driscol — 201 (two-game series)

  • Marley Young — 99 (one game)

  • Alvaro Frangi — 121 (one game)

The Spartans will look to build on the momentum when they return to action Tuesday, January 13, at TP Lanes in Bellefontaine against West Liberty.
