Area Little League and Acme baseball teams competed Wednesday evening.
Chiefs 11U defeated Piqua Braves 11U 16-1 in 4 innings.
The Braves led off the game with a bloop single over the second baseman. That would be the only hit surrendered by the Chiefs during the game.
Ean Fultz, Hudson Banta, Caleb Arbogast, and Rowen Daring each pitched an inning and were aided by a solid defense behind them.
Banta went 2-2 with a pair of doubles.
William Jenkins went 2-2 with a triple.
Daring went 2-3.
Six other Chiefs added a hit.
In Acme Baseball, Bellefontaine Easton Water Solutions beat Mechanicsburg 14-4.
Bellefontaine broke a 4-4 tie with five runs in the bottom of the 5th and scored five more in the bottom of the 6th for the run-rule victory.
Zane Tevis had three hits, two stolen bases, and an RBI.
Brody Boy had a 2-run triple.
