The Bellefontaine Chiefs 12U baseball team picked up a solid win Tuesday night, defeating the UC Tigers Marshall 12U by a score of 6–1.
The Tigers scored first with a run in the top of the first inning.
The Chiefs answered in the second with home runs from Korbin Smith and Jax Fleming to take the lead.
Bellefontaine added more runs in the third thanks to hits from Jack Fissel and Jax Fleming, and a groundout by Brentlee Bach that brought in another run.
The Chiefs will play Ben Logan 12U on Thursday at 6 p.m. at Blue Jacket Park.
