The Redemption Tour continues for Bellefontaine as they beat the Granville Blue Aces Friday night 29-21.  Granville knocked Bellefontaine out of the playoffs last year.

Tavien St. Clair was 13-22 for 223 yards and 2 TDs.  Chris Fogan rushed 31 times for 201 yards and Riley Neer caught 11 passes for 202 yards and 2 TDs.

Bellefontaine trailed in the first quarter 15-14 before taking a 21-15 halftime lead.

Head Coach Jason Brown talks about the game:

The Chiefs added another score in the third quarter and added the 2-point conversion to go up 29-14.

Granville would score in the 4th quarter to pull within one score.

Bellefontaine seemed to be icing the game late in the 4th quarter when they fumbled going in for a touchdown and Granville recovered with a little under 2:00 left.

The Chiefs would turn away the Aces on downs and take a knee to run out the clock for the victory.

Bellefontaine (11-2) will now face Bishop Watterson this Friday (11/17) in the Regional Final (final 8 in the state in DIII) at Marion Harding.

Marion Hardin is located at 598 Presidential Drive in Marion.

Watterson (12-1) is the #1 seed in the region and beat Bloom Carroll 20-10.
