Chiefs; Pirates win streaks snapped; Urbana rolls; Week 10 finals in football

Week 10 wrapped up the regular season in high school football.  Several games had an impact on league titles and playoff positions.

*Official playoff pairings will be released Sunday by the OHSAA all games listed below are unofficial

Bellefontaine 14 (8-2)

London 28 (7-3)

The Chiefs’ 7-game winning streak is snapped

BHS WR CJ Wilson broke the school record for receiving yards in a season

As of right now, Bellefontaine is #10 in DIII Region 11 and would travel to Granville next Friday night in the playoffs

 

North Union 12 (7-3)

Urbana 38 (8-2)

The Hillclimbers clinch the CBC Mad River title

Urbana finishes (8-2) which is their best season since 2013

Rayvon Rogan had 10 catches for 228 yards and 2 TDs

The Hillclimbers currently are #5 in DIV Region 16 and would host #12 Graham next Friday however, there is still one game to be played Saturday that could impact that matchup

 

Graham 32 (5-5)

Indian lake 21 (1-9)

Eli Hollingsworth threw 3 TDs to Eli Jacks

Burke Lillard hit Caden Nicol for a 67-yard TD for the Lakers

 

Riverside 7 (7-3)

Milton-Union 51 (10-0)

The Bulldogs rushed out to a 21-0 lead to clinch the TRC title

Riverside is sitting #4 in DVII Region 28 and should host Lehman next Friday night

 

West Liberty-Salem 32 (5-5)

Triad 34  (4-6) OT

The Cardinals rallied from a 17-6 deficit to tie the game at 26-26 and scored a 2-point conversion in OT for the win

WL-S is #8 in DVI Region 24 and would host #9 Triad next Friday night

 

Benjamin Logan 48 (4-6)

Northwestern 12 (1-9)

Trevor Berry rushed for 189 yards and scored 3 TDs for the Raiders

 

Mechanicsburg 26 (8-2)

West Jefferson 14 (4-6)

The Indians are #3 in DVII Region 28 and will host Lockland next Friday night

 

Hardin Northern 7 (6-4)

Waynesfield-Goshen 35 (10-0)

It appears #3 W-G will host #14 Hardin Northern again next Friday night in DVII Region 26
