Chiefs, Raiders, and Lakers all win in straight sets – Tuesday volleyball scores

Several varsity volleyball teams hit the court Tuesday.

Bellefontaine beat Upper Scioto Valley in straight sets: 25-7, 25-13, and 25-13.

Taylor Banta led the Chiefs going 19/19 serving, with 2 aces, 8 kills, and 7 digs.

Latoya Rogan added 15 digs and went 17/17 serving with 5 aces.

Kelsie Snapp chalked up 5 aces and 12 kills.

Ava Campbell had 5 kills and 2 blocks.

Olivia Ullom had 5 kills, 7/7 serving, and 3 blocks.

Madi Zedeker went 14/14 serving and had 24 assists.

Lily Palmer had 9 assists and perfect serving.

Delmary Zayas-Colon added 3 blocks and 2 kills.

Reagan Standley had 5 digs and Julia Nelson added a solo block for Bellefontaine.

The JV Chieftains won in straight sets over USV 25-1 and 25-12.

Airiana Young went 34/35 serving with 9 aces and 13 assists.

Kaeleigh Flora added 6 assists and 8 kills.

Perri Neeld tallied 4 kills.

Alexza Clifton went 7/7 serving with 2 aces.

Bellefontaine is now 2-0 and hosts North Union Thursday for a triple header. The JV Black game starts at 4:30 p.m.

Raiders varsity volleyball team

Benjamin Logan traveled to Findlay and won in straight sets: 25-14, 25-20, and 27-25.

Makayla Williamson lead the Raiders with 13 kills, Lily Blackburn tallied 7 kills and Kyndal Cronkleton had 6 kills. Mia Stahler recorded 25 digs and Brielle Moorhouse passed out 32 assists.

Benjamin Logan will travel to play Springfield Saturday.

Calvary Christian defeated Spring Valley in 4 sets: 25-15, 16-25, 25-12, 25-19.

For the Spartans, Kari Gantz served 11 points in a row in the 3rd set.

Calvary’s varsity team is now 2-1.

Calvary Christian will play Friday against Milford Christian.

The Spartan JV team lost to Spring Valley in 2 sets: 15-25, 11-25.

Calvary’s JV team is 0-1.

The JV team’s next game is Saturday against Chess Academy.

Indian Lake’s Ally Kinney with the block

Indian Lake defeated Riverside in 3 sets: 25-16, 25-22, 25-10.

Leading the Lakers was Ally Kinney who went 17/19 hitting with 6 kills.

Halle Roby went 17/20 hitting with 6 kills.

Madison Brentlinger was 21/22 hitting with 7 kills.

Devin Rice went 15/17 hitting with 7 kills.

Stephanie Altstaetter was 13/14 hitting with 7 kills, 17 assists, and 11 digs.

Halle Roby went 16/18 serving with 5 aces and 16 assists.

Katie Roby was 22/23 serve receive and tallied 27 digs.

The Lakers are now 2-1 on the season.

For the Pirates, Alaina Snow led the team with 9 assists, 2 blocks, and 10 digs, Jade Copas brought in 8 kills, and Aubree Huston added in another 9 digs & was 100% from the serving line.

Riverside falls to 0-2 on the year.

In the JV contest, Indian Lake won 25-9, 25-22.

The Lady Lakers were led by Alex Kinney who was 11/12 serving, with 4 aces, and 21/23 setting with 5 assists.

Addison Beck was 9/10 serving with 3 aces and 4 digs.

Adeline Robinson was a perfect 7/7 serving with 3 aces and 4/5 hitting with 2 kills.

Makenna Hurley went 6/7 serving, 9/11 setting, and 8/8 hitting with 2 kills.

Riley Ross was 4/4 serving with 2 aces, 9/10 serves received, 6 perfect, and 6 digs.

The JV Lakers are also 2-1 on the year.

Pacing Riverside was Jaidyn Jackson with 1 kill, 3 aces, 6 digs, Zoey Ransbottom tallied 1 assist and 2 kills, Shaye McGill had 1 assist and 2 digs and Riley Dillon added 1 kill, 1 ace, and 6 digs.

The Lady Pirates host Houston Monday.
