The Bellefontaine varsity volleyball team beat Kenton in 4 sets Saturday (25-21), (10-25), (25-22), (25-15).
Olivia Ullom led the Chiefs with 9 kills, 10 digs, and 1 block, and was perfect serving.
Kylie Adams added 3 blocks, 5 kills, and 5 digs.
Latoya Rogan tallied 24 digs.
Kelsie Snapp chipped in with 6 kills and 13 digs.
The Chieftain JV Red team beat Kenton in straight sets (25-10), (25-13).
Gabbe Hoon led the offense with 5 kills.
Ava Reeves led the defense with 12 digs.
Alexza Clifton chipped in 9 digs and 3 aces.
Calvary Christian’s varsity team defeated Christian Academy in 3 sets: (25-15), (25-8), (25-14).
Ruby Slemmons had 6 aces, served 25 points, and 7 assists.
Madelyn Trittschuh had 8 kills and Abby Jenkins had 7.
Lucy Jarvis also had 7 assists.
Isabel Schmidt and Trittschuh each had a block.
This was the last regular season conference game for the Spartans. They are now first in the North Division of OVCC.
Calvary has one more regular season game against Urbana next Saturday before tournaments begin.
The Spartans are now 13-5 overall.

The Bellefontaine 7th-grade team lost to North Union in the CBC tournament in straight sets: 18-25, 11-25.

The West Liberty-Salem 7th and 8th-grade volleyball teams competed in the OHC tournament Saturday.
The 7th-grade Tigers played Northeastern and lost in straight sets: 17-25 and 14-25.
Emma Schmelzer and Aubra Wiant each had an ace.
The 8th-grade Tigers beat Mechanicsburg in the semi-final game in straight sets: 25-11 and 25-21.
The Tigers then defeated Fairbanks in the championship game in straight sets: 25-16 and 25-20.
