The Bellefontaine High School girls bowling team placed 8th in the state over the weekend.
After three regular games and three baker games, they went head to head with the 1st place team, Boardman, and lost in three games, 193 to 129, 200 to 156, 206 to 156.
Leading the Chieftains:
- Chloe Heminger with games of 202, 200, and 200, 602 series
- Gracie Hood rolled games of 166, 169, and 176, 511 series
- Haylee Yelton had games of 167, 152, and 145,464 series
- Nevaeh LaFollette added games of 158, 145, and 146, 449 series
- Haylee Rutherford also added 184, 158 games
The Chiefs bowled team games of 877, 824, 807 =2508, and baker 150, 177, 148 = 475 for a total of 2983.
