The Bellefontaine Chieftain Boys Tennis team dropped a 5-0 decision to host Northwestern on Monday evening.
In singles play:
- Xavier Sims fell to Yeager 6-2, 6-0 at first singles.
- Max Fissel lost to Widolfsky 6-3, 6-0 at second singles.
- Quinn Slagle was defeated by Bechtel 6-4, 6-2 at third singles.
In doubles action:
- Bryce Harris and Elias Abrego battled in a three-set match but came up short, 6-2, 4-6, 4-6, in first doubles.
- Lane Howard and Lorenz Henry lost 6-1, 6-0 at second doubles.
The Chiefs will be back in action on Tuesday when they host Tecumseh.
Match time is set for 4:30 p.m.
