Chiefs top Lakers, Raiders fall to 0-6 – Tuesday basketball scores


Area basketball teams were in action Tuesday evening.

The Bellefontaine varsity boys defeated Indian Lake 45-40.

Tavien St. Clair and CJ Wilson led the Chiefs with 12 points each.

Leading the Lakers was Caiden Nicol with 16 points.

Bellefontaine improves to 3-4, while Indian Lake falls to 4-4.

The Chiefs won the JV game 48-31.

The Benjamin Logan varsity boys fell to Kenton Ridge 70-33.

Ty Anspach led the Raiders with 17 points.

Benjamin Logan is now 0-6 on the year.

KR won the JV game 66-31.

Riverside beat Temple Christian 63-51.

Kaleb Schindelwolf led the Pirates with 17 points and 8 rebounds.

Gavin Orsborne poured in 12 points, Ayden Clary recorded 10 points and 5 boards, and Jaxon Woods had 6 points, 4 assists, and 4 steals.

Riverside improves to 4-5 on the season.

The Pirate JV team also beat Temple Christian 51-42.

Leading Riverside was Dylan Burchett with 14 points and 9 rebounds.

Reese Jenkins tallied 9 points and 6 boards and Dylan Cooper and Brice Kauffman each scored 8 points.

Urbana’s varsity boys beat Jonathan Alder 44-33.

The Hillclimbers improve to 6-1.
