Chieftain and Pirate Bowlers Knock Down Pins

The Bellefontaine Chieftain girls bowled well together Tuesday in both regular games and Baker, they shot 920, 938 regular games, and 680 Baker totaling 2538.

Leading the Lady Chiefs was Chloe Heminger with games of 236 & 190 for 426 series, Gracie Hood 234 & 187 for a 421 series, Haylee Yelton with 224 a game for a 371 series, Haylee Rutherford rolled a 168 game for a 326 series, Avery Mullins added a 169 game and Nevaeh Lafollette added a 145 game.

The JV Girls final score 1479 to Northwestern’s 972.

Leading the team was Kinzie Bernard’s 172 game and 299 series, Rhiana Beair added 135 game, Skybree Knotts 125 game,  and Isabelle Gunnett a 123 game.

The Bellefontaine boys bowling team rolled Tuesday with Senior Garrett Brede rolling games of 181 and 202 for a series of 383.

Helping the team was Brandon Pinkerton with games of 192 & 190 for a series of 382.

Chipping in was Paul “Van” La Follette with games of 203 & 170 for a 373.

Colton Wisner added a 174 game.

Baker games consisted of 208, 178, 146, and 193.

Rolling for the JV was Eli Stone with games of 166 and 230 for a series of 396.

Jacob Lynch added games of 173 and 145 for series of 318.

Timmy Phillips added an 181 game.

The Chieftain bowling teams will be back in action at home against London on Friday.

 

Kenton visited Riverside on Tuesday at TP Lanes.

In the Girls match Kenton came out on top 1551-1426, leading Riverside was Hope Harris with a 276 series and Kyleigh Duff added a 144 game.

For the boys varsity Kenton was also a winner 2910-2510.

For Riverside, Sam King had a 419 series and Gage Stevenson added a 215 game.

In boys JV action Kenton won 1845-1676, leading Riverside was Ayden Mees with a 268 series and Jason Friend added a 132 game.
