Area high school bowling action took place Wednesday night, with Bellefontaine sweeping London in varsity girls and boys competition behind strong regular-game scoring and solid Baker play.

VARSITY GIRLS — Bellefontaine 2538, London 2073

The Bellefontaine girls bowling team earned a convincing win over London on Wednesday, building a strong lead during the regular games and finishing the match with consistent Baker scores for a 2538–2073 victory.

Gracie Hood led the Chieftains with a 237–185 series for 422. Rylee Anderson followed with a 217–193 series totaling 410, while Chloe Heminger added 395 (190–205). Addison Prosser rolled 346, and Kodi Palmer contributed 275.

Bellefontaine totaled 1848 pins in the regular games and added 691 pins in Baker play to seal the win.

The Bellefontaine boys also picked up a victory over London, pulling away during the regular games and holding on through Baker play for a 2513–2241 win.

Alex Moon led the Chieftains with a strong 233–209 series for 442. Dometri Harmon added 389 (158–231), while David Allen finished with 365 (171–194). Paul “Van” Lafollette contributed 184, Alex Williams rolled 169, and Corbin Stachler added 119.

Bellefontaine posted 1818 pins in the regular games and followed with 695 pins in Baker play to secure the sweep.
