Chieftain Bowlers Take on Hillclimbers

The Bellefontaine High School bowling teams took on Urbana Thursday night.

The girl’s varsity team bowled well in the regular games, they bowled 987, 931 = 1918 going into the baker.

Leading the Lady Chiefs was Gracie Hood with 235 & 233 games for a 468 series.

Haylee Yelton rolled 233 & 205 games for a 438 series and Chloe Heminger added games of 206 &198 for a 398 series.

Nevaeh LaFolette had a 172 game for a 324 series.

Avery Mullins bowled all four baker games and marked all 8 frames.

The girls are now 14 – 0, we will be back in action Friday night at T-P for senior night.

The JV girls bowled with 4 bowlers.

Bellefontaine’s final score was 1712 versus Urbana 1745.

The high score for the JV was Isabelle Gunnett with games of 159 & 167 for a 326 series, Kinzie Bernard added games of 162 & 148 for a series of 310, and Skybree Knotts added a 169 game.

 

The Bellefontaine boys team lost to Urbana 2709-2804.

Rolling high for BHS was Alex William with games of 233 & 176 for a series of 409.

Rory Pierce rolled a 408 series with games of 185 & 223.

Alex Moon added a 395 series with games of 190 & 205.

Garrett Brede had a 383 series with games of 182 & 201.

The varsity rolled bakers of 144, 214, 224, 200.

The JV won 2096 to 2075.

Rolling high for JV was Jacob Lynch with games of 178 & 150 for a series of 328, and Truman Howell rolled games of 158 & 140 for a series of 298.

Colton Wisner rolled games of 141 & 151 for a series of 292.

Jeffrey Knotts rolled his personal high game in a match of 161, 116 for a 277 series.

They rolled bakers of 134, 159, 167, 160.

Chiefs are back in action Friday for Senior night at TP Lanes, ceremony at 3:45, then hosting Tecumseh.
