Chieftain boys compete at Arrow Invitational; Lady Pirates fall to Bethel


The Bellefontaine boys varsity golf team competed in the Arrow Invitational Friday at Windy Knolls Golf Course.

21 other teams competed in the invite.

Bellefontaine combined to shoot 362.

Leading the way for the Chiefs were Austin Hammond with a 76, Collen Brugler shot an 83, and Joseph Boop carded an 89.

The Riverside varsity girls golf team fell to Bethel 214-227 at Cherokee Hills Golf Course.

For the Lady Pirates, Reaghan McDaniel was medalist with a 42, Zoie Armbruster shot a 59, Ava Klinger and Cassie May both carded a 63, and Emma Saylor recorded a 64.

Riverside is currently 17-10 on the season.

The Lady Pirates are in action Monday at Lakeland Golf Course taking on Miami East.
