Chieftain boys run to 3rd place at Lost Creek Invitational

The Bellefontaine boys cross country team competed at the Lost Creek Invitational, hosted by Troy, on Monday.

The Chiefs placed third out of 10 teams with a score of 91.

Team scores: 1. Piqua 69, 2. Troy 73, 3. Bellefontaine 91, 4. Wayne 112, 5. Greenville 131, 6. Milton-Union 151, 7. Fairborn 164, 8. Miami Valley School 167, 9. Newton Local 194, 10. Xenia 293

The race was 3,000 m, which is approximately 1.86 miles.

There was a total of 138 runners in the race.

“It is great to get the first race under our belts to establish a starting point for our future improvement,” said head coach Ben Davis.
