The Bellefontaine Chieftain Girls Tennis team hosted Urbana on Tuesday night, falling 2-3 in varsity action.
The first doubles team of Mia Brown and Rylee Crabtree continued their strong season, improving to 3-0 with a 6-0, 6-1 victory. Olivia Warye gave it her all in a grueling three-hour, 20-minute second singles match, but came up just short, losing in three sets to C. Nannorone 4-6, 6-4, 7-5.

In junior varsity action, the Chiefs tied Urbana 1-1.
J. Hall won at 1st JV singles 8-0, and Charlie Hughes/Vanshika Shah won 1st JV doubles 8-4.
The Chieftains move to 1-2 overall and 0-2 in the CBC.
Their next match is Wednesday, as they travel to Kenton to face the Wildcats at 4:30 p.m.
