Chieftain Swim Teams Shine in Tuesday Dual Meets

The Chieftain swim teams hosted Minster and Botkins on Tuesday evening, with the boys sweeping the double duals and the girls splitting their matches. The boys triumphed over Minster 53-37 and Botkins 43-37, while the girls narrowly lost to Minster 48-46 but defeated Botkins 69-21.

Top performers for the girls included:

  • Maddie Ullom: 1st in 100 Back (PR)
  • Elaina Ullom: 1st in 100 Breast
  • Kaeleigh Flora: 2nd in both 50 Free (PR) and 100 Fly
  • Emma Nieto: 2nd in both 200 IM and 100 Free (PR)
  • Kate Myers: 200 Free (PR), 2nd in 400 Free Relay
  • Ella Fultz: 2nd in 500 Free (PR)
  • Claire McDaniel: 2nd in 100 Breast
  • 200 Medley Relay: 2nd place – Maddie Ullom, Elaina Ullom, Kaeleigh Flora, Kate Myers
  • 200 Free Relay: 2nd place – Maddie Ullom, Gillian Steele, Claire McDaniel, Emma Nieto

  • Beckham Harman: 2nd in 200 IM, 2nd in 100 Back (PR)
  • 200 Medley Relay: 2nd place – Jaylen Henry, Beckham Harman, Elias Abrego, Ryan Alexander
  • 200 Free Relay: 2nd place – Beckham Harman, Blaine Mitchell, Will Myers, Oliver Grandstaff
  • 400 Free Relay: 1st place – Ryan Alexander, Jaylen Henry, Grady Feasel, Elias Abrego

The team will compete next at the Kenton Ridge Invitational on Saturday at Wittenberg University.
