The Bellefontaine varsity girls swam to a first-place finish in a double dual meet, defeating host team Botkins 53-41 and edging past Jonathan Alder 47-45.

The girls came off a hard practice yesterday and I was proud of them for pushing through the meet in such a strong way. They continued to show growth and support one another throughout the meet as well. The team next competes at the Lima Senior Invitational Saturday, December 17th with races starting at 3:15.
The Chieftain varsity boys also won their double dual meet, defeating Jonathan Alder 55-36 and the host team, Botkins, 57-37.
