The Chieftain tennis team hosted Urbana for a high noon showdown that saw the Chiefs pick up their second 5-0 win in a row.
1st Singles:
- Truman Howell defeated Brayden Spriggs 6-0,6-0
2nd Singles:
- Xavier Sims defeated Keegan Clay 6-0,6-0
3rd Singles:
- Max Fissel defeated Louie Astacaan 6-3,6-3
1st Doubles:
- Bryce Harris/Trey Taylor defeated Michael Holland/Sam Wilhelm 6-2,7-6(7-5)
2nd Doubles:
- Elias Abrego/Quinn Slagle defeated George Bender/Jacob Kemp 6-2,7-6(7-3)
The Chiefs move to 2-1 in the CBC and 2-1 overall.
They return to the courts on Tuesday as they head to Springfield to take on the Shawnee Braves at 4:30 pm.
