The Chieftain girls tennis team traveled to Jonathan Alder Wednesday night and dropped a 1-4 decision in varsity play.
Varsity results:
- 1st Singles: K. Sloat def. Ava Dolan (B) 6-4, 6-2
- 2nd Singles: S. Green def. Olivia Warye (B) 6-3, 6-3
- 3rd Singles: L. Ruth def. Adison Postle (B) 2-6, 6-0, 6-2
- 1st Doubles: Mia Brown / Rylee Crabtree (B) def. Audrey / Owyn 6-2, 6-2
- 2nd Doubles: Gabby / Ashlyn def. Charlie Hughes / Oriana Vasquez (B) 6-3, 6-1
The Junior Varsity team also fell to the Pioneers 1-0.
In JV singles, A. Sandler defeated Vanshika Shah (B) 8-0.
