On Saturday, the Bellefontaine Lady Chieftains volleyball team played the Turpin Lady Spartans in the Division III District Finals, falling in straight sets 25-16, 25-16, 25-23.
The Chiefs were the last team left alive from Logan and Champaign County, and put up a valiant fight. They will end the season 18-7.
