Chieftains make big splash at Trotwood Invitational

The Bellefontaine Chieftain swim team competed at the Trotwood Sprint Invitational on Saturday, finishing strong against 19 schools. The girls placed 3rd overall, while the boys came in 6th.

Boys Highlights

  • Cody Hudson – 2nd in 50 Breast (PR), 5th in 100 IM (PR)

  • Beckham Harman – 6th in 50 Back, 11th in 100 IM (PR)

  • Grady Feasel – 7th in 50 Fly, 11th in 50 Free

  • Nicolas Herrera Diaz – 11th in 50 Fly (PR)

Girls Highlights

  • Kaeleigh Flora – 3rd in 50 Fly (PR), 5th in 100 IM (PR)

  • Madeline Ullom – 2nd in 50 Back (PR), 8th in 100 IM

  • Clara Core – 9th in 50 Back

  • Ella Fultz – 12th in 50 Fly

  • Emma Merrin – 14th in 50 Fly

  • Gillian Steele – 16th in 50 Breast

  • Girls 200 Medley Relay – 6th (Core, Steele, Flora, Ullom)

  • Girls 200 Free Relay – 4th (Ullom, Steele, Fultz, Flora)

It was also exciting to see first-year swimmers seeing early season success—today’s highlight was Nic breaking 30 seconds in his 50 free.”
